Mappin & Webb, or M&W, is an internationally acclaimed jewelry brand that originated in a silver workshop year 1775 in England, United Kingdom, where it is headquartered today. The company has several retail stores across the British Isles. Mappin & Webb has had Royal Warrants to the British monarchy since 1897. In other words, they have rights to manufacture and design exclusive jewelry for the royal family. Mark Appleby, the M&W's master craftsman, is currently the Crown Jeweller of the United Kingdom; he designs the royal crowns.
